Cavendish Risk Management led a team of consultants in a highly
focussed audit of one of the largest SAP ECC 5 programmes’
in the Southern Hemisphere. The programme had reached a crisis point
and was in danger of a major de-commitment on its objectives.
The scope of this programme covered the major SAP
Finance and Human Resources modules as well as Recruitment, Plant
Maintenance, Project Management and other SAP functionality.
The audit was extremely well received and covered
all major aspects of scope, timeline and budget performance across
the roll out of the SAP applications for more than twenty Government
departments.
Programme recovery actions were defined in the audit
report which included the establishment of a Solution Design Authority
and Cavendish Risk Management has led a three further phases of
the assignment to re-plan and re-structure the programme. This process
involved fourteen focussed project teams reporting into Cavendish
Risk Management who tabled the final recommendations on the recovery
strategy.
Cavendish Risk Management supplied the lead negotiator
for the subsequent tender process and has led the commencement phase
of the newly established Prime Contractor process.
